Bill why they using Bunnaman on the wing? How long before you think he is sent down?

Bunnman is sent down the second NoPa can play. Laughton slides down and Raffl moves back to wing

He had a rough night in Vancouver. I think they give it the rest of this road trip, whether it's at LW or C, and then potentially make a roster move when they come back. Vorobyev is playing well for the Phantoms so far and they could live with him at 4C for awhile... they'd rather Rubtsov and Frost (who is pressing a bit offensively) play a lot of mins with the Phantoms first.

Young guys flourished before. Konecny Sanheim, Provorov, Myers, Ghost, Laughton, Lindblom all had good to great years prior to AV. They are just getting better

Hopefully they rebound after the SO loss the other night. I have a feeling the top line finally breaks through and Elliott plays well against one of his former teams.

It would be nice to look at 3-0-1 in the standings after tonight.

I like that JVR was moved to the first line. The line of Giroux-Hayes and Voracek are all playmakers first. They need a goal scores on that line. Voracek makes more sense on the third line than JVR as he is a better skater and drives more puck control.
Should be an easy switch.

Nice, he had a very active stick during preseason. Wonder if Jake will stay on the top line tonight.

since their first game together during preseason, JVR and Hayes seem to play well together. But not sure who i'd put on the RW as i like claude on the left more. Jake didn't mesh with them, or not to me.

Fletch probably not gonna wait that long. Someone else will get the call. Plus when he returns, he'll probably last a few games before he's hurt again.

What triggered these headaches of his anyway? A recent surgery?

Could be something as simple as physiology. I've had migraines since I was little.

they said he had a family history of these. ( i believe his mother suffered from them as well.) Also i believe they said it wasn't concussion related, but he did have a couple recorded concussions before.

It's a genetic condition that others in his family also have. The issues apparently went away for a number of years from adolescence until recently but returned with a vengeance this spring. What complicated it was that Patrick had a concussion in March, and it took the doctors time to be able to differentiate the genetic condition he has from a potential case of post-concussion syndrome.

I was watching the Hockey Night in Canada feed for the Vancouver game and they mentioned NoPa has had this affliction since he was a child and confirmed it is not concussion related.

Problem with that is Giroux and JVR both prefer and feel more comfortable at LW, whereas Voracek prefers and feels more comfortable at RW.

I listened to that game feed, but didn't happen to catch them mentioning that fact.

So in addition to his extensive injury history, the Flyers also probably knew he had head issues at draft day and still wrote them all off?

again, wonder what would happen if they flip flop konecny and jake. if jake gets demoted again, he with laugths and carsen could be interesting with how the two have been skating

Myers played a grand total of 21 NHL games last year. I don't think I'd say he "flourished" last year. Looked good, looked like he belonged, but he didn't blow me away. Has the potential, for sure.
